I bought this for my cruise in August. The shampoo worked into a nice lather. For me it worked better rubbing it into my hair. My hair felt very clean after 'ing it. I was really amazed at how easily I was able to comb through my hair when I put the conditioner in. The directions say to form a light lather but for me there really wasn't a lather which was fine for me.
