Tell us about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? What do you do? What inspires you to travel?
My name is Kee Burrell, I'm from Richmond VA. I'm a Client Development Manager in Luxury Retail Fashion at Saks Fifth Avenue. I'm what my friends call a buttoned-up free spirited person, so I'm always inspired by travel, seeing and experiencing new cultures.
What impact has travel had on you?
Travel has had an everlasting impact on the way I view the world. With travel experiences it puts life into perspective for me. In the U.S it's so easy to get caught up in the turntables. When traveling I have realized that culture, good vibes, and meaningful conversations are just worth much more.
What is your best piece of travel advice?
My best piece of travel advice would be, to find the heart of the city, be open, really see how locals live, have meaningful conversations and learn about someone different than you.
We see you're quite the fashionista! How do you curate your vacation wardrobe?
For me styling on a vacation is simple. I never over pack because I never check bags. Ideally I take separate pieces that can easily be mixed to create several different looks. If I'm going somewhere for 4 days I will essentially only pack 5 outfits, 1 sporting outdoorsy look, 1 swimwear, 1 heel, 1 sneaker, and possible one outdoorsy shoe. I also always wear the bulkyish items to the airport to save space.
If you had a ticket to go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why
I would go to Australia. It has always been on my bucket list. I'm genuinely an outdoor lover. I also love the water and adventure and Australia is the place to be for someone with my thrill seeking energy.
