Tell us about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? What do you do? What inspires you to travel?
Hey Travel Queens! I'm Tinashe, travel enthusiast and Founder of Tin Trips. Through my Business, my mission is to host group trips that empower Black women to travel and network. I specialize in budget travel with a luxury experience and I love showing my clients that it is possible to travel to your dream destinations without breaking the bank. Tell us about how you empower women through travel?
I empower Black women through travel by proving them a safe space to travel and network with like-minded sisters. It is my hope that through my travel experiences, these women are empowered to step out of their comfort zones and meet other queens outside of their existing circle of friends, not just while traveling but in life as well.
To those afraid to book that flight and see the world, what would you say to them?
Good things come to those that book flights - so to those anxious to travel solo and see the world, DO IT. YOU WILL THANK YOURSELF FOR IT LATER - LIFE IS SHORT!
What was your most memorable travel experience and why?
My most memorable travel experience was my first solo trip to the Philippines. This was truly an empowering experience that contributed to influencing my starting of hosting group trips. I have met so many black females during my travels, who are keen to travel with alike minded sistas. I truly believe that it's time we start to create movements for our own kind and I hope you will join along for the ride!
Based on your travels, if you had to choose a place to reside until the end of time, where would you choose and why?
It is of no question - BALI is it for me! I have visited this place several times and stayed for a while and yet the destination continues to amaze me. The affordability, the value, the diversity in people, and the endless experiences make it an all-rounder filled with modern life yet rich culture and history.
