WHEN DO BLACKTRAVELBOX ITEMS SHIP?

We ship out orders within two to three business days of receiving the order. With standard U.S. shipping you should receive your product in 7-10 days.

WHAT COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP TO?

Besides the US and Canada, we ship to most U.S. armed forces addresses globally. More countries coming soon!

WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING FEES?

We offer free shipping worldwide on orders $40+. Otherwise, shipping is only $7.99 within the states–just $15.99 to everywhere else!

DO YOU SHIP TO MILITARY ADDRESSES?
Thank you for your service! We proudly accept most armed forces addresses, although shipping times may vary. Just follow the regular checkout process and enter your appropriate APO/FPO/DPO address in the shipping section.

HOW CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

To view the progress of your order, please visit our order status page. You can access this page directly through the link provided in the order confirmation we sent to you via email, SMS, or through the Shop app.

>WHAT TYPES OF NOTIFICATIONS WILL I RECEIVE ABOUT MY ORDER?

The type of notification you receive depends on the contact information you provided at checkout:

  • If you provided an email address, you will receive your order confirmation and subsequent updates about your order and shipping via email.
  • If you provided a phone number, you will receive your order confirmation via SMS. Note that order and shipping updates are not sent by SMS. However, you can opt-in to receive these updates by email during checkout.

HOW DO I USE THE ORDER STATUS PAGE TO TRACK MY ORDER?

There are two ways to track your order on our order status page:

  • With an account: Simply log into your customer account.
  • Without an account: You might need to verify your identity by confirming your email address or phone number along with your order number. This verification might be required after a certain amount of time has passed since placing the order.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY ORDER NUMBER?

Your order number is included in the order confirmation message that was sent to you either by email or SMS, depending on the contact information you entered at checkout.

This information should help you keep track of your order every step of the way. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please contact our customer service team.

WHAT IF MY ORDER IS LOST OR DAMAGED?
If you included Route shipping insurance in your order, loss, theft, and damage that occurred during shipping are all covered. If your order arrives damaged, please take photos of the item and the packaging to include in your claim when filing. Claims for damaged items must be filed no later than 15 calendar days from when the package was marked delivered. You can file your claim at https://claims.route.com/.
If you did not include shipping insurance, please be sure to reach out to the carriers (ie USPS, UPS, FedEx) directly and reference the tracking number we provided. In some cases, each shipment comes with a nominal amount of insurance coverage directly from the shipping carrier. 

WHAT'S YOUR RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY?
Product didn't meet your expectations? Don't throw it in the back of the bathroom cabinet! We have a 100% money back guarantee. If you have a change of heart, no problem! Send us back any unused product free of charge within 90 days of receipt for a full refund.

We’re handmade with care in Denver, Colorado.

DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?
We never test our products on animals nor do we purchase ingredients tested on animals.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?
Vegetarian, yes. Vegan, no; as many strict vegans do not use beeswax, a key ingredient in several of our products.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Everything but Monopoly money :) Actually, we accept all currencies supported by Shopify along with Paypal, Google, and Afterpay.

CAN I BE A RESELLER?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN AN ITEM SAYS PRE-ORDER?
Pre-order items are items new to BTB typically launched with limited initial quantities. All "PRE-ORDER" items are clearly marked. If an item is not marked pre-order, we have it in stock ready for immediate shipment.
Pre-Order items are produced in limited quantities and are expected to ship within 1-3 weeks. Expected release dates can be found in their respective descriptions. If you purchase a pre-order, the item will be reserved for you and mailed out as soon as the item is available in stock. We will notify you via email at the time of shipment.

HOW DO I STORE MY BLACKTRAVELBOX PRODUCTS?

Although our products are made to endure the heat and cold, try to keep them stored in a cool, dry place when you can.

HOW LONG IS THE SHELF-LIFE OF MY PRODUCTS AS SOON AS I OPEN IT?

You’ve got about one year from opening to use your product but most folks use their 2oz jar within 1-3 months. Keep in mind that repeated usage may cause our natural ingredients to break down more quickly. Always close you container after use and try to keep it out of extreme heat and cold.

CAN I USE THE PRODUCTS DAILY?
Yes, our products are safe to use daily. Feel free to use with the routine that feels best for your hair and skin.

WHAT IF I RECEIVED THE WRONG PRODUCT?
Email us! We’ll be happy to look into the discrepancy and get the product you ordered to you ASAP.
